I hope you like it, cause if not... well service is paid up for 3 months so would be a shame if we had to move before then Sadly I still can't seem to get the colors any better than they are, if anyone out there knows how to write CSS let me know and I'll get you what documentation I have and we'll see what we can work out, but that WYSIWIG editor just isn't doing it. If that doesn't make sense to you... don't worry about it, it's geek speak. Any existing members not yet registered on the new site can either submit an app, and I'll accept it when I see it, or you can PM me for a launch code either here or in-game. The old launch code seen in the first news post on the new site has been changed so you'll have to contact me for the new one. This old site will remain active at least until October 30th, after that it could vanish any day. If there is anything you want saved from this site get it off NOW or tell me and I'll see if I can recover it. Finally, one nice thing about this place is we can have domain name forwarding. Meaning if we purchase a domain name, we could use that as a web address. I don't think it's worth it, most cost around $7 a year and all it means is we could change our address to www.mabisolidarity.com or something like that (www.solidarity.com is already taken, naturally). Just tossing that out there to see if people have an interest in doing that, but personally seems like a waste of money to me. I will still watch the old site, but I ask that people put all new PMs and forum posts and comments and what-not on the new site, and just leave this one be. It should turn into a ghost town. My apologies to them, I'm sure the RP test would have been quite interesting had Oren, our usual test-giver, been handling things. But as it was they probably had a more grueling quiz portion than most, and they both did very well on that. Comments?(0) Current Guild Issues Posted by Shivore on Friday, October 03, 2008 at 12:48:51 PM As most of you have probably heard of, either from attending Wednesday’s meeting, hearing talk about the meeting, or from other sources… the stability of the guild is currently threatened. If one carefully examines what happened at the meeting, it is evident that the debate on IC threats isn’t really the problem, but more a symptom of larger problems lurking below the surface. I want to assure you all that we as officers are all doing all we can to identify, and to find solutions to these core problems. Furthermore, you as members are not powerless. There will be no significant actions taken or major decisions made that won’t first be cleared through you as a community. Keep a close watch over the next few days on the site news, and the poll box as they will likely be used to keep you informed, and receive feedback from you.   To give you an idea what I’m talking about, below is a list of some of the underlying problems we have identified, and are currently working on. I do not call this a complete list, but this is a good part of it:   Problem 1 - We have no clear guild identity. Problem 2 - We don't interact with one another enough. (more specifically, we act within our mini-social groups and not enough with others in the guild as a whole) Problem 3 - We have no system in place to handle conflict resolution.    As long as you as a group are willing to work together to ensure we continue as the fun guild we have been, I am certain we will get through this and come out the other side all the stronger for it.
